BIG NEWS: I am moving to another country

Hi Reader, Don and I have decided to move to Costa Rica. (Don't worry! I'm still going to be offering all my classes and other goodies. See below for what's coming.) It is not an easy decision. We would have loved to stay here in Nevada City, CA and buy a home. We had hoped housing prices would fall to make that possible, but they have not. As we did the math and looked at our future, it became clear that staying here was not viable. Yet we have been called to this by Guidance and are being drawn to be a part of a remarkable community that is forming, a village being built on principles of sustainability, regeneration, care for all life, and deep community. EcoVilla San MateoFor quite a few years we have envisioned a life that is sustainable, affordable, and beautiful in a lively, intergenerational community and in a village where we could walk to what we needed. We considered many options but couldn’t find anything that fit until one day miraculously this new adventure appeared in my inbox, a brand-new community just beginning to be created and a chance to be part of it from the start. We visited the project in August 2023—just before I was catapulted into my intense healing journey—and stayed for a week in a smaller community nearby, built by the same founder. We felt powerfully drawn to the vision of EcoVilla San Mateo. It is everything we were seeking and more. Other synchronicities over the past years have pointed us to Costa Rica. There is a strong presence of cutting-edge spirituality, eco-consciousness, and intentional community living throughout the country. Our current plan—and of course, plans can change—is to move in May 2025 and begin by renting a house in a nearby town while we build a small home in EcoVilla San Mateo. We are not sure how it will all come together, but we are going on trust. We know we need this for the sake of our health and well-being and so that we can help create what some call “the New Earth,” a vision for a better way of life on Earth. This is where we feel we can be most effective in this next chapter of our lives. What you need to knowMy offerings will continue unabated.

Costa Rica is on the equivalent of U.S. Central Time, so it is easy for me to continue to serve you from there. I hope to see your shining faces and hear your voices soon. A little more about the moveWe will be selling some of our art (we have amazing art by many artists) and most of our furniture and other things and likely holding some kind of fun, artistic fundraiser to help support us in this dream, so please keep an eye and ear out for that. This will be a year-long adventure. Doors will open in December for a January start date.
